Trouble with multi-postings
First, I’d like to apologize for the multiple instances of the same post. I’m currently fixing this issue by deleting/disabling unnecessary connections to social networks. This should be fixed soon… I hope. ;) Twitter and Facebook are brutal candidates since they seem to be the ones likely to funnel all your activities into and repost from other social websites. If you belong to multiple social networks, for personal or for business, make sure you keep the following in mind: - Map out a diagram of how the websites connect to each other. This way you’ll know how your post travels from one connection to another. - Make sure there’s only one source for your content. Preferably, try to start your post on your own website or microsite. Let your connections do the leg work of delivering your message. - Monitor the chatter. Turn on e-mail notifications for new comments or new followers if necessary. You can also use services like Disqus or BackType to help you with this task. This makes tracking and replying to comments much simpler for you. Do you have any other tips you’d like to share? Let me know here.
